Produce CSA Program

​​What is a CSA?

CSA or Community Supported Agriculture is a program where you get weekly (or biweekly) produce boxes while supporting local farmers. Each week, Lost River Co-Op & Café gathers freshly-picked fruits and vegetables from local farmers and distributes them to CSA participants. By joining the CSA program, you'll get the full array of Southern Indiana seasonal produce while supporting our local food system. Your grocery dollars stay local and provide small-scale farmers with consistent support for the growing season. In addition to produce, you can also receive eggs, specialty items and sign up for a meat box too!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Produce CSA has started, but it's not too late to sign up!

Sign up for a half-season produce CSA and receive a produce box from July 30 to October 1.

    ​​Add-ons

    In addition to your weekly or biweekly CSA, you can add on additional local products. Those include:

    • Local eggs - Add a dozen fresh eggs to your CSA. Eggs are supplied by Fleenor Farms and Hall Family Farms. Only $4 per dozen!​

    • Specialty items - Add a locally produced speciality product to your CSA! The speciality items will vary each week and may include: jams, preserved fruits, honey, syrup, soaps, and local arts & craft items. 

      • Weekly CSA (half season): +$110

      • Biweekly CSA (half season): +$55

    • Local meat box: this is a once-a-month option where you'll get a variety of meat from local producers. This may include Miller chicken, Fischer Farms beef, and Orange County beef and pork. ​​

      • +$50 for each month you choose: May, June, July, August, Sept, October

    Payment options

    We can accept debit and credit online. Cash, check and SNAP can be paid in-store or via phone. Use code DEPOSIT at checkout to pay half now, other half due by June 4.​

    Pickup and delivery

    Pick up is available at Lost River Co-op & Café on Thursdays - Saturdays for no charge. Delivery will be available for a one-time fee of $30 to the following areas: Mitchell, Bedford, Salem, French Lick, Jasper, and Huntingburg.
